​Heather wrote a series of articles that explore the different stages of filmmaking while following the production of Joe Crump’s "The Storyteller." Additionally, she wrote a number of articles sharing creative insights and technical practices in post-production workflow.​​

After graduating with her MFA, Heather gained experience in post-production, coordinating and editing EPK packages, DVD and marketing featurettes for the Academy Award winning “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Anna Karenina,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” and other narrative and documentary projects.
